Avid reader, art enthusiast and frequent traveller into meditation, and staying active (yoga, rock climbing, mountaineering, backcountry camping, kayaking, running, soccer, basketball and, most recently, skydiving). I enjoy regularly challenging my mind and body in an effort to constantly be striving towards self-growth, but mostly because it’s fun and why not?

I recently traded in my position as Director of People & Culture for a full-time writing schedule. Engaging very selectively in this realm allows me to get out of my head and into my body for some much needed fun and relaxation. I've found this to be the perfect place to both explore my sensuality and meet deeply interesting individuals I might not otherwise encounter.

Other things I value include innovation, creativity, passion, perspective, equanimity, empathy, strength, integrity, information, analysis, altruism, curiosity, freethinking, iconoclasm, expansive Overton windows, intimacy and generosity of spirit.

I enjoy getting to know each other, quality time being my top love language. The more time we have together, the more room we leave to become completely uninhibited and absolutely restless to devour each other from the mind down.

That being said, I can appreciate that not everyone’s budget and schedule allows for this. Gifts and acts of service (which I find to be one in the same—action based expressions of love) are a great way to cultivate a deeper bond if the moments we spend together must be fleeting. It’s not about the amount spent, but the thought put behind the act that shows you care in a meaningful, action-driven way. Whether you’re bringing me a well loved book from your personal library that you know I’ll connect to, bonding us, or a generous list of recommendations and an even more generous gift card to acquire said recommendations, you’ll find yourself beginning to take up room in my heart. Teach me the value of quality by adorning me in things I might have before thought too extravagant to get for myself, leaving me feeling spoiled, thought of and cared for and feel my heart grow to make more room for you. Take a stressor or two off my plate and you might yourself filling it up completely as financial support, however it presents itself, is never about the money—it’s about being provided with the freedom to pursue one’s passions and engage creatively every day.

I so enjoy spoiling others, too! Little gestures to show you’re paying attention and they are seen. Recommending things. Making dedicated playlists. Seeing and getting something that made you think of them, and you know they’d love. Celebrating birthdays is my all time favourite!

My goal in being here is to cultivate the financial freedom to not only pursue my personal projects full time [happening now], but to independently fund them [now my primary goal]. While this avenue of work, if pursued full-time, could easily have been more profitable than my previous day job, the growth trajectory and security that role provided me are what allowed me to live in abundance, as opposed to the sense of scarcity any freelance work can create. This is now changing as I step out of that security into the unknown of dedicating myself to my craft and a full-time writing schedule.

Having very recently come out of a truly insecure time that had drained me of my energy as well as my savings—three years sparring with cancer right before the pandemic hit (don’t worry, I won!)—security is what I most crave. I am blessed to have found that in clients who I’ve known some as long as 12 years from the couple of stints I’ve found myself advertising as a companion. While I love meeting new people, it is for this reason, in addition to my dedication to friends and passion projects, that I don’t always have the time to. Please understand that this makes me extremely selective in who I choose to spend my time with, and reflects accordingly in the considerations I put forward for my time.

Engaging with an equal can be nerve-wracking, but is also often the most rewarding. Lead with a generous spirit and a flaming capacity for respect—for yourself, myself and all others—and you stand a good chance of activating a strong desire in me to meet you.

Feeling insecure? No need! I’ve been told my open energy is naturally and immediately calming. Failing that, big, bear hugs are the first tool in my chest used for gently softening hard shells. Allow me to cultivate a space where you can feel safe letting your guard down. It can often be an incredible relief to share in secrets or act vulnerably, and in what better place than with a lover who is creating that space for you? Let’s joke around and let loose, it’ll do us both a world of good.

Perhaps that’s not you, and insecurity isn’t even in your wheelhouse. You too have a strong desire to bond, take care of, support and/or teach. If you’re nodding your head right now, I especially want to meet you. Having and exerting strong boundaries has always been a major theme in my life, but I’m in a place now where I’d like to learn to set them down, to open myself up to being vulnerable in the way I’ve so easily done for others but have often rejected within myself, and to give myself permission to be smaller and allow myself to receive care for a change so that I can maintain the energy to engage in mutual care more sustainably. I spent my early life as the protector, having to be strong and executive to keep everything afloat, and that’s been a tough narrative to unlearn. As such, the dynamic won’t come without a lot of tender loving care and support to soften my harder edges. If you can get me there, though, you’ll find I’m a tender hearted puddle of cuddles who enjoys check-ins that I may excitedly respond to in soliloquies, like the bright-eyed, precocious kid I feel inside. If I’m honest, I’m here looking to rediscover and explore that side of myself (I so enjoy nice Little games, if you do too. Bonus points if you found me here from Twitter.) Until then, I’m in it for the adventure.

Ready to join me in that adventure? Let’s go axe throwing, discover new galleries and go on culinary expeditions. Teach me how to golf, play tennis, or squash! Let me teach you to love ballet or the opera, and watch me cry with joy because I’ve never seen either live. The city is our oyster.

Cancellations

To avoid forfeiting your deposit please give:

At least 14 days for any Overnight, all day or multi-day cancellation.

Deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable to another date if rescheduled at the time of cancellation and adequate notice is given to avoid forfeiture.
