I always find it difficult to describe my interests concisely. In a different era, I’d probably have called myself a renaissance woman. It sounds better than “jack of all trades,” doesn’t it? And it’s more accurate: there are plenty of trades I don’t know jack about. In brief, I love the arts, culture in all its forms, and learning new things through meeting new people. To be a little more specific, I like reading (from Euripedes to Octavia Butler), music (from Etta James to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Ciara to Chopin), making pottery, and indulging in a little opulence. My favorite things are the experiences I haven’t had yet, and the topics I’ve learned nothing about. In other words, I’m incurably curious. Give me a new obsession?

- $100 for any same-day or next-day hotel bookings
- Uber reimbursement for same-day or next-day appointments or for appointments outside of Chicago city limits
- at least $50 per hour of travel outside Chicago city limits
I will always be upfront and transparent about these additions.
