I came to massage after an autoimmune disorder struck me down at the height of my life. I had just started my fashion styling business and was making great money and having tons of fun, I was traveling all over the world and living an amazing life. Over the course of a year, my health began to fail.

Soon I was on total bedrest 6 out of 7 days of the week.

The doctors couldn’t “find” anything “wrong” with me and told me it was in my head. I spent 2 years in bed and almost lost everything. I went through my savings and was facing homelessness.

I turned to online blogs and read everything I could about the immune system and nervous system. I began to study tantra, get regular massage, and go to the sauna. I started juicing and intermittent fasting. I cut out sugar and gluten and moved by the water. I took gentle walks in nature.

I learned about the body- where we store emotion, grief and trauma in our deep tissues. I used massage and essential oils to heal my body.

It’s been a battle back to health. Today, I am an artist and in the studio every day, I dance on stage at a gentlemen’s club and have a huge life in the city. I never ever thought I would get here. I am grateful every day for my health and recovery!
